Peonies and Lavender

Blumen machen einfach glücklich, findet Ihr nicht auch? Leider schaffe ich es viel zu selten frische Blumen zu Haus zu haben. Umso mehr habe ich mich gefreut als ich diese tollen Pfingstrosen gefunden hatte!

Flowers just make you happy, don't you agree? It's a shame that I don't manage to have fresh flowers at my place more often. So I was very happy when I found those beautiful peonies!

Und vor Kurzem habe ich in der Nähe wunderschöne Lavendelbüsche entdeckt und mir ein bisschen Lavendel für zu Hause gepflückt... einfach schön! Ihr könnt Euch ja vorstellen, dass ich das natürlich als Anlass genommen habe, ein bisschen umzudekorieren. Naja, das artet bei mir gerne mal in ein stundenlanges Projekt aus und ich laufe kreuz und quer durch meine Wohnung mit unterschiedlichsten Dingen in den Händen - kennt Ihr auch, oder?
 
And only a few days ago I found wonderful lavender bushes just around the corner and picked some for my place. So pretty! You can imagine that this was just the right time to redecorate a little. That quickly turns into a project for hours and I am running around with things in my hands looking what looks best in which combination :o) You know that, right? 


Zuerst fand ich den Lavendel auf dem Couchtisch so schön...

First I thought the lavender looks beautiful on my couch table...

... aber auf dem süßen Tisch sieht er doch auch so schön aus. Und dann kam auch noch die Abendsonne durch das Fenster.

... but it also looks so cute on the little table. And then the evening sun came through the window.

Ich denke, ich werde nochmal an den Lavendelbüschen vorbeigehen und ein bisschen Nachschub holen ;o)

I think I will go and get some more lavender ;o)
